Fershgenet Melaku aka Angel Melaku aka Angel Lola Luv or Lola Luv was born on October 25, 1986. She is a hip hop model of Ethiopian and Trinidadian descent who has been frequently featured in Hip Hop / urban magazines. Lola Luv quickly became popular for her often questioned and highly rumored to be fake, physical assets. She appeared on BET's fashion show Rip The Runway and won their Video Vixen of the Year award. In April 2007, she appeared on the cover of Black Men magazine and was named, the new "It girl" for 2007.
Angel, better known as DC’s Cover Girl & 50 Cent's hottest new protege, is originally from Washington DC. Angel was found in DC by professional photographer / model agent Mike Styles, CEO of his own Modeling Agency Style Entertainment. They met and talked about him doing her photo shoot & managing her. They started working together with Mike’s partner Michelle Vierya and everything has blossomed since March 2006. Within 8.5 months Angel’s career took off from the very beginning.
