GOLDIE LOC BIOGRAPHY:

 
 'Tha Eastsidaz' was founded as a group in 1999. They were signed on to Snoop's Doggystyle Records, on which they released their debut album 'Snoop Dogg Presents Tha Eastsidaz' on February 1, 2000. The album was a hit and eventually went platinum. Most of the songs were performed live on Hustler's rap-porn compilation Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle XXX DVD. The album was executive produced by Snoop Dogg. They were also featured on Lay Low, a hit single off of Snoop Dogg's 'Last Meal' album. The group also won at the Source Awards in 2000, scooping up the "New Artist of the Year" award.

 
 The following year they released their second album, Duces 'N Trayz: The Old Fashioned Way. The album was critically good, but was only certified gold unlike their first album, which went platinum. The group broke up when Snoop Dogg left while making their second album and when Tray Deee was sentenced to 12 years in prison for attempted murder.

 
 On October 5, 2004 his first solo album called "Still Eastsidin" was released, but it recieved little success. His second album, Loc'd Out, was released on March 15, 2005 by 33rd Street Records, an independent record label based in Greenbrae, California. The album still didnt put Goldie Loc on the map as a hip hop solo artist. In 2005, Goldie Loc and Snoop Dogg reunited to form Tha Eastsidaz. They released a new joint album with the IV Life Family.

 
 Goldie Loc is being rumoured to be making another appearance in the hip hop world, now that he is free from the grip of Tha Eastsidaz and underground restraints. The website www.goldieloc.com has been registered and is currently under construction. Goldie Loc is now a part of a newly formed group 'The Warzone', founded by Snoop Dogg and his Doggystyle label.
