War & Peace Volume 1 (The War Disc) is Ice Cube's long awaited 5th solo album since Cube's last album which was released in 1993, Lethal Injection. War & Peace Volume 1, was released on November 17th, 1998 on Priority Records. The album features production work by Master P and moves from intense street-oriented jams to rap-metal fusions, such as the Korn song "Fuck Dying." The album was certified as platinum.
