TWISTA 'ADRENALINE RUSH 2007' ALBUM INFO:
Twista released his seventh studio album with 'Adrenaline Rush 2007' on September 18, 2007. The album title includes 2007 in it because its ten years since his hit album 'Adrenaline Rush' was released. 'Adrenaline Rush 2007' featured production from the likes of The Neptunes, Kanye West, and Jazze Pha, and featuring artists include Lil Wayne, R Kelly, and Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. The fact that Bone Thugs feature on the album may come as a suprise to some Hip-Hop fans due to the fact that Twista and Bone Thugs previously had beef after Bone Thugs accused Twista off stealing their fast-rap style. However, they managed to put that aside and use their talents together on the track "Ain't No Hoes".
The first official single from the '2007' album was "Give It Up", a track featuring Pharrell, and "Creep Fast" was the second single which feautured T-Pain. The review from XXL magazine states that the content of commercial and raw talent on the album is of a good mix.
The album debuted at #10 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling around 40,000 copies in its first week; this was poorer than the first week performance of Twista's "The Day After" album which debuted #2 with about 129,000 copies sold in its first week. Its poor debut week was then followed by a a sharp fall in the charts, falling to #48 in its second week with 18,000 copies sold, which was then followed by the album falling off the Top 100.
